Summer Children’s Workshops: Little Artists and Avant – Gardes

Fuerteventura Times Magazine is excited to present an extraordinary summer experience for the youngest members of the household. This year, La Casa de los Coroneles is offering a unique journey through some of the avant-garde movements that have shaped contemporary art. These  workshops aim to inspire children aged 6 to 12 by introducing them to artists and artistic movements and exploring how they found unique ways to express their perception of the world.

Importance of Creative Thinking in Children

Creative thinking plays a crucial role in a child’s development. Through play and creation, children can experiment with different artistic techniques and materials, allowing them to express their emotions and ideas while discovering their own voice and style. By engaging their senses of sight, hearing, touch, and smell, children process information and gain the confidence to openly express their emotions and sensations. The possibilities offered by art, especially contemporary art, are limitless, opening doors to various languages and forms of expression where every experience isvalid.
