The municipality of Antigua is preparing land for the construction of protected housing (VPO) after more than 35 years without such development. Urban Planning Councilor David Alberto announced that the Town Hall has commissioned Gesplan to make a specific modification to the General Plan, aimed at acquiring land in Antigua and Valles de Ortega. This land will be subsequently ceded to the Government of the Canary Islands to facilitate the promotion of protected housing.
Antigua is a municipality located on the eastern part of Fuerteventura, known for its agricultural landscapes and traditional Canarian architecture.
