David de Vera has expressed concerns regarding the potential dismantling of Las Salinas and the plan to establish new energy facilities close to residential areas in Puerto del Rosario. He emphasized that it makes no sense to dismantle existing infrastructure and then allow new energy installations to be built just 600 meters from local homes. In an effort to prevent the development of additional energy facilities in the La Hondura area, the municipality is offering land in Zurita to DISA.
Puerto del Rosario is the capital city of Fuerteventura, known for its natural beauty and diverse energy initiatives, making this matter of significant concern for local residents.
