José Manuel de la Torre, a nurse at the Hospital General de Fuerteventura, is set to make his debut in literature with his novel, “Luces y sombras del amor.” The book consists of ten emotional fiction stories that encourage readers to reflect on their understanding of interpersonal relationships. De la Torre describes himself as an “emotional explorer,” stating, “I do not intend to tell anyone how they should love, nor do I intend to perform a psychological analysis of emotions or people.”
He will present his novel at the Feria del Libro de Fuerteventura on Sunday, October 18, at 10:30 AM.
