The Councilor for Commerce of Puerto del Rosario, Tacoremi Gutiérrez, has announced that the opening of the Municipal Market has been postponed until late 2023. This delay is due to the ongoing development of regulations governing its operation.
In an interview with La Voz de Fuerteventura and Radio Insular, Gutiérrez also highlighted initiatives to promote local commerce and proposed declaring El Charco an Open Commercial Zone.
Additionally, she expressed concern about the increase in uncontrolled litters of stray animals, calling for enhanced sterilization efforts for dogs and cats.
