On the evening of October 3, 2023, the Local Police of Puerto del Rosario responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at the roundabout connecting Juan de Bethencourt, Diego Miller, and Constitución Avenues. Following the impact, the motorcycle caught fire. Local police quickly extinguished the flames using a fire extinguisher. The Municipal Fire Service of Puerto del Rosario arrived on the scene to secure the area and complete the firefighting efforts, with support from the National Police.
Residents are reminded to reduce speed and adjust driving according to traffic conditions when approaching roundabouts, paying special attention to smaller vehicles, especially motorcycles.
