Woman arrested for six hotel apartment robberies in Costa Calma.

The Guardia Civil has apprehended an individual in connection with six burglary incidents at a hotel complex in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura. The suspect reportedly took advantage of tourists dining in the buffet area to access apartments through open terrace doors or windows.

Stolen items include €1,470, £150, and 700 Czech crowns, in addition to two laptops, a tablet, two mobile phones, and a Nintendo Switch. Investigations conducted by the Morro Jable Principal Post’s Investigation Area, including review of surveillance footage, led to the identification and arrest of the alleged offender.

Some electronic devices have been recovered, and the investigation remains ongoing, with the possibility of further actions.

Costa Calma is a popular holiday destination known for its beautiful beaches on Fuerteventura, one of Spain’s Canary Islands.
