No explanations or accountability in Mascarillas case, says Enseñat.

Fernando Enseñat, a member of the Popular Party and spokesperson for the investigation commission on the Mascarillas case in the Canary Parliament, has harshly criticized the PSOE’s response to the final ruling. He claims that political responsibilities have already been addressed within the regional chamber, while judicial investigations remain open in both the Canary Islands and Balearic Islands. Additionally, Enseñat commented on a recent Supreme Court ruling regarding the tourism tax in Mogán, expressing his party’s opposition to such taxes, which he believes could negatively affect residents. As a local council member in Puerto del Rosario, he also provided a critical review of the local government’s management during the current legislature.

The Mascarillas case has become a significant topic of discussion in Fuerteventura and beyond, reflecting ongoing political and judicial challenges in the region.
