This past weekend, over 10,000 attendees reveled in the sun-soaked festivities of the Caleta Fuste Beach Party, a hallmark event in the Canary Islands famed for its musical quality and relaxed atmosphere. The gathering kicked off with a bang on its first day, drawing approximately 4,000 enthusiastic partygoers during peak hours. As the festivities continued into the second day, the turnout soared, with more than 6,000 people dancing on the sandy shores, showcasing the event’s remarkable popularity.

Juan Cabrera, the Mayor of Antigua, celebrated the serene ambiance and family-friendly atmosphere that characterizes this unique festival. He emphasized how this year’s edition stands out, particularly with the reunion of Los Salvapantallas, a pioneering group that played in the festival’s early days when it was still finding its footing 14 years ago. Cabrera noted, “This historical Beach Party has transformed tremendously, featuring a more extensive setup and a diverse lineup appealing to audiences of all ages.”

Sebastiana Verde, the councilor for tourism, expressed her satisfaction with the event’s success, highlighting the spirited reception from the public. “I want to thank the entire technical team and all the companies involved, because without their hard work, the Beach Party wouldn’t be possible,” she emphasized.
Verde also mentioned the remarkable teamwork that went into organizing this year’s festivities, stating that despite only being a month into her role, she diligently worked alongside Mayor Cabrera and the team to secure the necessary permits and arrangements for the celebration.
Star-Studded Performances
On the second day, music fans were treated to performances by renowned artists like Los Salvapantallas, DJ Doctor Maxi, Tay de León, Juan Blazer, and Miguel Lara. The lineup included a special musical tribute to Elton John, alongside acts like Lucho RK and the Capital Party Band. The magical atmosphere transformed the night of August 1 into a memorable experience, leaving attendees buzzing with energy and excitement.
