A third of the Insular Executive of the AMF party in Fuerteventura has expressed dissent against the president and called for an extraordinary meeting to demand explanations regarding the candidacy for the Cabildo. The agenda proposes not to recognize Juan Nicolás Cabrera Saavedra as the candidate and to select a new candidate, as well as to replace AMF’s representation in the “Por Fuerteventura” alliance.
This internal disagreement highlights ongoing political tensions within the AMF party as it navigates its future leadership and strategy in local governance.
