New Public Plaza Opened in Caleta de Fuste
On Tuesday, November 4, the Mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña García, officially signed the act that marks the completion of a new public plaza in the heart of Caleta de Fuste. According to Mayor Matías Peña, this initiative is a significant component of the “II Plan for Modernization, Improvement, and Increase of Competitiveness” in Caleta de Fuste. The new plaza, characterized by inclusive paving, aims to eliminate urban barriers, making it welcoming to everyone.

The agreement, which gained approval in a plenary session in March 2023, entailed a significant contribution from the developer, Impulsora de Comercio y Desarrollo, S.L. They handed over the fully furnished and completed plaza to the Town Hall of Antigua at no cost. Its strategic location next to key thoroughfares, such as Avenida El Castillo, Calle Ajicán, and Alcalde Juan Évora Suárez, ensures easy access for all.
