The Popular Party (PP) in Puerto del Rosario has called on the local government to address safety concerns at a pedestrian crossing point near the main entrance of the shopping center on Professor Juan Tadeo Cabrera Street.
According to party representatives, an increasing number of pedestrians are using this spot to cross the road, despite the absence of designated crosswalks or signage. This situation poses risks for both pedestrians and drivers, as unexpected crossings may lead to sudden stops or evasive maneuvers.
PP spokesperson Ana Padilla has urged municipal technicians to explore viable solutions, which could include creating a marked and safe crossing point or implementing other measures to discourage crossing at this location.
