The Director of Canarian Ports, Juan Luis López, has announced that the port of Gran Tarajal has received its first Blue Flag, marking a significant milestone following the challenges experienced in 2018. This recognition highlights the efforts to improve management at the island’s ports.
López also discussed plans for over twenty ongoing tenders related to majorero ports and emphasized the potential of upcoming projects. He criticized the People’s Party for claiming credit for the expansion of the Gran Tarajal port, asserting they have never managed the related file.
Gran Tarajal is located on the southeastern coast of Fuerteventura and is known for its picturesque harbor and vibrant community.
