This includes an estimated economic impact of €3.29 million and the creation or sustenance of approximately 45 full-time jobs, as highlighted by the festival’s organizers.

In a bid to support local musicians, this year marks the second edition of the Talento en Mar Abierto contest. This initiative opens doors for emerging bands and artists from the Canary Islands, offering them a chance to integrate into the festival’s esteemed programming. Remarkably, cultural events have attracted almost €33 million in sponsorships for 496 events. As a leading event, the Festival Mar Abierto has consistently garnered substantial support, showcasing top-tier artists and enhancing the overall quality of experiences for locals and tourists alike, with an economic impact exceeding €3 million in its recent editions.
