This groundbreaking program is not only the first of its kind in Spain but also the only dual-track degree in Quantum Technologies offered in the Community of Madrid. The Bachelor’s Degree in Quantum Technologies Engineering is tailored for students who possess a solid scientific and technical foundation. Ideal candidates include those who have completed the Science and Technology stream of the Bachillerato or equivalent, as well as students from Higher-Level Vocational Training in fields like Computer Science and Communications. This diverse background will facilitate a smooth transition into the program.

Graduates will emerge as quantum systems engineers, specializing in the design of next-generation solutions, or as metrology specialists, focusing on the development of ultra-precise sensors with applications in sectors such as medicine and defense. The launch of the Dual Degree in Quantum Technologies Engineering signifies a deeper collaboration between the Indra Group and UC3M, which already hosts a chair dedicated to advanced research in quantum technologies, radio frequency, applied electromagnetism, and space technology. This chair aims to foster cutting-edge research projects that contribute to scientific advancement and the development of innovative solutions in transformative fields such as secure communications, space exploration, and defense. The dedicated laboratory on UC3M’s Colmenarejo campus serves as both a workspace and an experimental facility.
