Fuerteventura is all set to welcome another enchanting celebration this Monday, filled with joy and excitement as the Three Wise Men from the East arrive in all six municipalities of the island. This festive occasion not only marks a long-standing tradition but also embodies the warmth of community and family spirit in every corner of Fuerteventura.

A Day of Celebration on January 5, 2026

As the island gears up for January 5, 2026, local councils along with various organizations have curated a series of events to ensure that families experience the most magical evening of the year. Throughout the day, Kings might be spotted in parades, giving treats and interacting with the little ones, capturing the heart of the occasion.

Puerto del Rosario: A Festive Start

In the capital, Puerto del Rosario, the main festivities will commence with a vibrant parade starting from the Commercial Dock at 5:30 PM. This lively procession will weave through the bustling streets, culminating at the spectacular Belén Gigante—a giant nativity scene that attracts visitors of all ages.

The parade is an integral part of a broader Christmas program that has been ongoing since December 20, highlighting the Christmas Market located by Playa de Los Pozos. This market, running until January 5, features craft workshops, artisan goods, and lively performances, creating a festive atmosphere for all.

La Oliva: A Multi-Town Celebration

Moving on to La Oliva, the excitement kicks off early at 9:00 AM when the Three Kings are received warmly, setting off on a journey through the villages in the municipality. The day will culminate in the Grand Three Kings Parade in Corralejo, set to begin at 6:00 PM from Las Palmeras Shopping Center, arriving at the Patricio Calero Square.

In Tindaya, the annual Three Kings Festival will run from January 2 to 6, featuring its own unique schedule, with the grand parade taking place on January 5, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to join in the festivities.

Pájara: Traditional and Animated

In Pájara, the day promises a rich array of activities. The morning will see the Kings traveling through La Lajita, Cardón, and Ajuy, starting at 10:00 AM. The evening will feature multiple parades—at 5:00 PM, processions will commence from Toto, Morro Jable, and Costa Calma, each adorned with lively animations and the delectable offering of hot chocolate at the end.

Additionally, La Lajita will host a unique theatrical parade starting at 8:00 PM, featuring a Royal Market that leads into a Grand Theatrical Cabalgata, kicking off at 10:00 PM. In a delightful twist, the Kings will arrive on camels, further enriching the festive experience.

Tuineje: Community Spirit

Gran Tarajal is set to host its own vibrant parade at 6:30 PM, launching from the CEIP Cristóbal García Blairzy to the Candelaria Plaza and Tran Tran Plaza. Along the parade route, families will witness camels, pages, and shepherds bringing the journey to life, reinforcing the community spirit associated with this festive time.

Betancuria: A Journey of Magic

In the historic Villa de Betancuria, celebrations will take the form of a subtle yet captivating experience known as The Route of Magic. The Kings will visit Santa Inés Valley at 4:00 PM, followed by a journey to Vega de Río Palmas at 4:45 PM, concluding at 5:30 PM in Betancuria itself, with music, seasonal treats, and a place for families to share their wishes through letters.
