A Season to Remember

Celebrating its 17th season, the 44Cup circuit presented five major events in 2025, culminating in a grand finale that will finally settle the scores among the world’s finest sailors. Each stop has been meticulously organized, allowing participants to engage in fierce yet fair competition while fostering camaraderie within the sailing community. The Iconic RC44: A Marvel of Design and Technology

At the heart of the 44Cup is the RC44, a state-of-the-art racing yacht constructed entirely from carbon fiber. This vessel exemplifies innovation, making it perfect for a variety of conditions, from light breezes of 5 knots to more challenging gusts reaching 25 knots. Features like its lightweight design, trim tab for improved upwind performance, and a retractable bow sprit level the playing field against larger, more modern yachts.

As a one-design class, the RC44 ensures that competition remains fair and balanced, with strict measurement protocols that minimize operational costs while still maintaining competitive integrity. Every entry into the race represents an equal opportunity for glory.
