Hyundai NEXO

The Hyundai NEXO is equipped with three hydrogen tanks that hold up to 6.33 kg of hydrogen, allowing it to achieve a remarkable range of 666 kilometers per charge according to the WLTP cycle. The stored hydrogen undergoes a chemical reaction in the fuel cell, generating electricity while the only byproduct is clean water. This electricity powers the electric motor, and any surplus energy is stored in a 1.56 kWh high-voltage battery.

The NEXO’s electric motor delivers 163 horsepower and a torque of 395 Nm, enabling it to reach a maximum speed of 179 km/h. This vehicle stands as a testament to the future of eco-friendly transport, marrying innovation with sustainability while allowing drivers to enjoy the beautiful terrain of Fuerteventura without contributing to air pollution.
