By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced voice recognition technology, Zoundream analyzes and interprets newborns’ cries, identifying behavioral patterns and dynamics that can reveal critical insights into a baby’s well-being.
The core of Zoundream’s system is its ability to monitor babies continuously and non-invasively in their homes. Utilizing acoustic biomarkers, the technology interprets cries to support early detection of potential health issues and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism. This groundbreaking approach opens up new avenues for preventive pediatric care, allowing parents and healthcare providers to respond proactively to a child’s needs.
Recently, CDTI Innovación made a significant investment in Zoundream, contributing €675,000 alongside CRB DIGITAL HEALTH III, F.C.R.E. and CRB DIGITAL HEALTH III BIS F.C.R.E., S.A. This investment underscores CDTI’s commitment to supporting companies that are pioneering healthcare technologies aimed at improving quality of life.
CRB Health Tech plays a crucial role in this investment landscape. CRB Health Tech, S.G.E.I.C., S.A. specializes in managing venture capital investments in healthcare technology, including biotechnology, medical devices, and digital health. The firm manages the funds through which CDTI Innovación co-invests in Zoundream, focusing on transformative projects that leverage disruptive technologies to enhance healthcare delivery.
Founded in 2008, CRB Health Tech is based in Madrid and Barcelona, and is dedicated to supporting visionary entrepreneurs and innovative projects that are reshaping the healthcare landscape. The firm’s investment strategy emphasizes the development of disruptive technologies that improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as platforms that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system.
Innvierte is another key player in this ecosystem. This initiative promotes business innovation by facilitating venture capital investments in technology-based or innovative companies. Implemented through the closed-ended investment company Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., which is self-managed and supervised by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Innvierte has committed €3,478.5 million across 61 investment vehicles. Through its co-investment line, it has directly invested €866.1 million in 197 companies.
