The 36th edition of the International Kite Festival in Corralejo has once again transformed the skies of Fuerteventura into a vibrant tapestry of colors and movement. Running until Sunday, November 12, this year’s festival has attracted approximately 210 kite flyers from around twenty different countries, making it a grand spectacle for both participants and spectators alike.
A Commitment to Sustainability
Isaí Blanco, the mayor of La Oliva, the organizing municipality, has emphasized the event’s dedication to preserving the environment and promoting sustainability. “The International Kite Festival is an iconic event that has been an essential part of life in La Oliva over the years.
