Notable projects within this budget include the full renovation of the Lajares shooting range—allocation of 70,000 euros, refurbishment of the football field in El Cotillo with 35,000 euros, and enhancements at the José Perdomo Umpiérrez Pavilion in Corralejo along with the adjacent beach volleyball court, funded by 27,000 euros. Additionally, 26,000 euros have been earmarked for acquiring new sports equipment to further assist users.
Focus on Jonathan Sesma Complex
At the Jonathan Sesma Complex, considerable funds have also been allocated this year. A total of 18,000 euros is designated for upgrades to the 7-a-side football field, accompanied by 41,000 euros aimed at the ongoing improvement of two outdoor multi-sport courts, which will feature markings for both 5-a-side football and basketball. These enhancements not only aim to enrich the sporting experience but also promote communal engagement and physical fitness.
