Educational Offer for 2026 / 2027

The Escuela de Arte Fuerteventura is excited to announce that the enrollment period for the 2026/2027 academic year will be open from April 9 to April 24. This is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring artists and creatives to dive into the world of art education with an officially recognized institution.

Located in the stunning surroundings of Fuerteventura, the school offers a pluralistic educational experience, providing free and official courses accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands. Students can choose from a total of eight cycles across both medium and higher degree programs.

Available Courses

Students interested in interactive arts can begin their journey with the medium degree cycles: Calcographic Engraving and Assistance to Interactive Graphic Products. Entry into these programs requires completion of the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) curriculum, along with a specific entrance exam designed to assess candidates’ readiness.

The six higher degree programs encompass a wide array of artistic disciplines: Animation, Photography, Advertising Graphics, Audiovisual Graphics, Ephemeral Architecture, and Project Management and Direction of Decoration Works. Note that the last two programs have a biennial enrollment cycle, so students should plan accordingly.

Program Details

Calcographic Engraving (Medium Degree)

This course focuses on traditional printing techniques, including illustrations for books and publications, graphic artwork, and intaglio printing on metal. It’s an excellent choice for those who appreciate the tactile nature of printmaking.

Assistance to Interactive Graphic Products (Medium Degree)

Students will learn to create graphics for the web, mobile devices, and multimedia platforms. The curriculum includes interactive graphics, video graphics, and digital images, along with an introduction to programming—a valuable skill in today’s digital landscape.

Animation (Higher Degree)

This program offers a comprehensive exploration of both 2D and 3D animation techniques. Students will learn scriptwriting for animation pieces, character and scene design, rendering, and project creation, laying the groundwork for a dynamic career in animation.

Advertising Graphics (Higher Degree)

Focusing on communication and design in advertising, this course covers brand creation, editorial graphics, typography, and campaign development. Students will gain hands-on experience creating marketing materials across various platforms, including social media.

Photography (Higher Degree)

The Photography program addresses both artistic and documentary styles, including fashion photography, portrait photography, and photojournalism. Techniques on lighting, image treatment, and photo editing ensure students master the craft’s technical and creative aspects.

Audiovisual Graphics (Higher Degree)

Students will create moving images and motion graphics, gaining skills that are in high demand for streaming platforms, video games, and advertising. This program equips learners with the tools to express their creativity through dynamic visual storytelling.

Ephemeral Architecture (Higher Degree)

This unique course emphasizes the design of temporary spaces, including events, exhibitions, and installations. It covers lightweight structures, scenic design, and the application of artistic interventions in public spaces, fostering innovation in spatial design.

Project Management and Direction of Decoration Works (Higher Degree)

This program integrates interior design and decoration, guiding students through the ideation and development of projects, technical drawing, spatial distribution, material selection, illumination, and furniture arrangements. Practical skills are paramount, preparing students for a successful career in the field.
