Exciting Events Set to Take Center Stage at the Paladea Festival
As the vibrant island of Fuerteventura gears up for an exhilarating weekend, the Paladea Festival will kick off its sports and cultural activities on Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 AM. Thrilling Sports Events
The festival will open with the Paladea Bike, a demanding mountain biking competition covering approximately 50 kilometers. Starting in the quaint village of Lajares and concluding in Villaverde, this cycling challenge attracts both amateur and seasoned cyclists eager for adventure. The scenic paths will guide participants through mesmerizing areas such as Caldereta and La Oliva, wrapping around to the finish line in Villaverde. Race registration will occur at the Paladea tent in Villaverde. Athletes can collect their race numbers on Friday, May 8, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (for MTB participants only), and on Sunday, May 10, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
