Day Two: Saturday, July 6

  • Systema Solar (Colombia)
  • Balkan Paradise Orchesta (Barcelona)
  • Ant Cosmos (Gran Canaria)
  • Julia Rodríguez (Fuerteventura)

Both nights will also see DJ CHK spinning records, promising an electric atmosphere when the live acts wrap up.

Inaugural Presentation

The festival’s recent cartel unveiling was attended by key figures including President of the Cabildo, Lola García, La Oliva Mayor Isaí Blanco, Cultural Counsellor Rayco León, and festival Artistic Director Semi Gil, among others. Their presence underscores the importance of this annual event in promoting musical diversity and environmental harmony.

The Vision Behind FEM

Lola García emphasized the festival’s dual mission to celebrate nature and create a cultural meeting point. “FEM aims to promote respect for nature, serve as a cultural exchange, and create a platform for local artists,” she stated. The event has been pivotal in boosting the local economy, particularly in northern Fuerteventura, and fostering collaborations with local businesses.

Mayor Isaí Blanco noted how FEM puts Cotillo on the music map of the Canary Islands, attracting visitors who are keen to partake in its natural beauty. Cultural Counsellor Rayco León added that the 2024 edition intends to maintain the spirit of diversity while promoting a strong environmental message.

Festival Artistic Director Semi Gil described FEM as a pioneering event in the Canary Islands that kicks off the summer season. Iseo & Dodosound

This dynamic group is going on tour to promote their latest album, “En la Tormenta.” Known for their powerful performances, they blend new tracks with remixes, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Francisco El Hombre

One of the leading independent acts in Latin America, Francisco El Hombre consists of talented musicians from Brazil and Mexico. Their single “Triste, Louca ou Má” has become an anthem for female empowerment and earned them a Grammy nomination.

Green Valley
