On Monday, a heart-wrenching event unfolded at Aguas Verdes Beach in Betancuria, Fuerteventura, where two German brothers lost their lives after being swept away by a powerful wave. The two brothers, aged 58 and around 40, were reportedly residing temporarily on the island. A Sudden Turn of Events

About thirty minutes later, a helicopter from the Canarias Emergency and Rescue Group located the brothers’ bodies in the sea. Rescuers worked diligently to retrieve them and rushed them to shore, but their condition was critical, with both men in a state of cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of medical teams to revive them, they tragically succumbed to their injuries.
