Fuerteventura’s Participatory Initiative for Natural Resource Management
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has initiated a significant participatory process aimed at gathering citizen contributions for the drafting of the Plans for the Management of Natural Resources (Planes de Ordenación de los Recursos Naturales, or PORN). This endeavor focuses on some of the island’s most iconic natural spaces, including the natural parks of Jandía, Corralejo, Islote de Lobos, and the Betancuria Rural Park.
The Role of Citizen Participation
