Special Bus Services for Festival Fuerteventura en Música
As the vibrant sounds of music prepare to fill the air this July, El Cabildo de Fuerteventura has announced an exciting initiative to enhance accessibility and convenience for attendees of the Festival Fuerteventura en Música (FEM). Scheduled for July 3 and 4, the festival will take place on the stunning beach of La Concha in El Cotillo, and in response to the anticipated influx of visitors, a special bus service will be rolling out to facilitate transportation.
Expanded Bus Lines for Easy Access
This year, the public transport service, in coordination with the local transport authority, is introducing additional bus routes to ensure seamless connectivity between popular locations such as Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, and El Cotillo. The goal is to encourage the use of public transport during the festival, making it easier for everyone to attend without the hassle of finding parking.
Special Service Schedules
The special bus services will include two key lines: Line 6 and Line 8, with an approximate travel time of 60 minutes each.
Line 6 Schedule:
- Puerto del Rosario to Corralejo:
- Departing at 21:30, 23:30, 00:15, 02:00, and 02:15
- Corralejo to Puerto del Rosario:
- Departing at 22:30, 23:15, 00:30, 01:15, 03:00, 05:45, 06:00, and 06:30
Travelers from Puerto del Rosario will need to transfer onto Line 8 at the Corralejo Bus Station (next to the Health Center) or at the Bahía Lobos stop to reach El Cotillo.
Line 8 Schedule:
- Corralejo to El Cotillo:
- Departing at 22:15, 00:45, 03:15, and 03:30
- El Cotillo to Corralejo:
- Departing at 23:30, 02:00, 04:15, 04:30, and 04:45
Ticket Information and Regulations
Travelers are reminded that food and beverages will not be allowed on board the special buses, and the use of luggage compartments will also be restricted. The transportation passes will function as usual, with ticket prices set at €3.40 for the trip between Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo, and €3.10 between Corralejo and El Cotillo. Temporary Changes to Bus Stops in El Cotillo
Due to the anticipated high volume of vehicles during the festival, safety measures will be implemented. The La Ermita bus stop will be temporarily out of service from Friday, July 3 at 15:00 until Monday, July 6. During this period, all buses on Lines 7 and 8 will make stops at the Preferred Stop in El Cotillo instead.
