An Epic Challenge Awaits
What lay ahead was nothing short of an adventure: 132.5 kilometers of breathtaking landscapes that define the majorera geography. This year’s event was particularly special as it featured a route that for the first time allowed cyclists to journey through the majestic Dunas de Corralejo, a national park known for its stunning sand dunes and diverse ecosystems.

Tackling the Time Trials
The first time trial segment began with a tough ascent up Morro de la Cruz, followed by a thrilling descent into Betancuria where cyclists regrouped at Vega del Río Palmas. Here, they had a brief refueling stop before embarking on the second timed climb, culminating at the Mirador de Las Peñas. The descent led them towards Pájara and on to La Pared, another challenging portion that showcased their stamina and determination.
The final time trial commenced at Fayagüa, with cyclists tackling the last mountain segment leading to the magnificent Sicasumbre, where they prepared for the final descent towards La Pared, and ultimately the finish line at Costa Calma. The finish line was strategically set at the R2 Río Calma Hotel & SPA & Conference, where the excitement reached its peak during the award ceremony.
